The Center on Drug and Alcohol Research (CDAR) conducts research into the biological, psychological, sociopolitical, and clinical aspects of substance abuse. Our multidisciplinary center also provides consultation services to public agencies and state and local government. The Center has a history of providing training on evidence-based treatment, intervention and prevention approaches, as well as providing service to the community. The Center conducts federally funded research on substance abuse and related problems areas such as intimate violence, criminal justice settings and characteristics of rural substance use.
